Sophie Fix is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at High Alpha Innovation. Sophie oversees the company’s corporate governance and legal operations and works closely with the business team, partners and founders to build and launch great startups. Prior to joining High Alpha Innovation, Sophie served as General Counsel for Carbon38 and The Collected Group and as Director of Strategic Initiatives for Wedgewood, a large real estate investment firm, among other legal roles. Sophie received her JD from The University of Notre Dame and her B.S. in Environmental Science from the The University of Kansas. Sophie lives in Manhattan Beach with her husband, daughter and two sons and enjoys the sun, sand, live music in small venues, design and good books, but most of all discussing ideas and solutions. Sophie is an active volunteer for local organizations, is a member of Chief and Women’s General Counsel Network, and serves as pro bono counsel for The Munsee Tribe in Kansas.
