Less than a year after its product hit the market, PLOT Communications, Inc. (www.getplot.com), a SaaS management platform for construction jobsites, has announced just over $2M in fresh funding to continue its mission to enhance Jobsite Coordination.

The round was led by GroundBreak Ventures based in Toronto, with significant involvement from KCRise Fund, GROWKS Equity Fund, Iron Prairie Ventures, and Suffolk Technologies. The fundraising round also included a follow-on investment from Koch Industries, Inc., who initially funded the company in late 2021. This brings the total amount PLOT has raised to over $3M.

With rising input costs driven primarily by labor shortages, materials cost escalation, and supply chain disruptions, builders are increasingly turning to technology to optimize jobsite performance and reduce errors, rework, and unnecessary project costs. PLOT’s platform cuts through the arduous tasks of jobsite management by providing better options for coordination and communications among all relevant stakeholders.
